Ultra-Giving 2010 to Raise Funds for ROTH 25.09.2010

In 2009, Gilles Poulin ran 50 miles in 11 hours and 25 minutes at the Vermont 50 with the ambitious goal of raising $50 000 for three causes, including the construction of the Maasai Women Secondary School in Tanzania. One year later, after meeting his goal and taking part in a wonderful trip to Tanzania with his family to work with ROTH on the field, Gilles, along with eleven of his friends, decided to repeat the feat, but this time, on a mountain bike.

On Sunday September 26, our friends will undertake the 80 km of the Vermont 50 with the goal of raising $25 000 for three causes that are dear to their hearts. ROTH was chosen once more this year by our athletes in order to guarantee the funds needed for the construction of the building that will hold the kitchen and the study hall of the Maasai Women Secondary School, a tremendous project that will allow 80 young Maasai women to continue their high school education starting in January 2011.

The entire ROTH team wishes the best of luck to our generous cyclists!
