Harrison’s scholarship with ROTH goes back to 2007, when he started his first year of Secondary School. Separated from his brothers and sisters after the death of both of his parents, Harrison moved to Piave to live with his aunt, but she couldn’t afford to pay for his school fees.

We met Harrison during out Piave Dispensary and Maternity Ward project, and saw how his ambitions and hard work could help him beat the odds stacked against orphans, especially in Africa. It was a great day when co-founders Frédérique Vallières and Alannah Delahunty went with Harrison and his aunt Jane to enroll him in Form 1 (equivalent to Grade 9) in September 2007.
