With week 7 we saw the Septic tank nearing completion. With the walls nearly completely built, our Fundis and volunteers worked hard so they could begin plastering.
With all the necessary electrical work completed, our
carpenters were also beginning to fix ceiling boards to the finished
rafters. The bars for the windows also went in this week giving
the Ward a nearly finished look.
Work on the outdoor kitchen/laundry facilities was continuing well. Walls were nearing completion, and we were aiming for the roof to be poured by Week 8.
The members of the Piave Community started to dig the 30 foot placenta pit.
