Week 5: The Rafters
06.07.2007
Week 5: July 2-July 6
During Week 5 we began to really see the building
come together as the rafters and roof were completed by Saturday. On
Friday we saw the arrival of the workers and machinery for the Piave
Community Borehole project which will commence on Monday.
Our volunteers also leveled the 10ft septic tank. It is now ready for the floor to be poured, and the blocks to be laid.
The rafters are up and ready for sheeting by Thursday.
ROTH Volunteer Sandra-Lee and Waweru make sand in order to mix concrete.
Volunteers Koby and Paul tackle the septic tank.
